No. 9 Women's Squash Caps Weekend With Fourth Shutout Win

NEW YORK - On Sunday, Jan. 19, the Columbia women's squash team capped a weekend fulld of competition with a fourth straight win at home over No. 16 Williams. The Lions dropped the Ephs 9-0 to post its fourth straight shutout in three days.

Columbia's impressive weekend began at the Pioneer Invitationalin Amherst, Mass. On Jan. 17 the Lions picked up a pair of wins over No. 22 Wesleyan (9-0) and No. 18 Amherst (9-0). They returned on Jan. 18 to take down No. 13 Franklin & Marshall.

No. 9 Columbia have won its last five matches to improve to 6-2 overall this season. They will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 1 to hosts Dartmouth.
