No. 12 Women’s Squash Turned Away by No. 3 Penn

NEW YORK - In the final home match of the 2012-13 season, the No. 12 Columbia women's squash team hosted No. 3 Penn at the SL Green StreetSquash Center Friday night. In their first visit to New York since Columbia became a varsity program, the Quakers captured a 9-0 win over the Lions.

Columbia honored Katie Quan prior to the match, as the lone graduating member of team. Quan was the only Lion to win a game Friday evening against the Quakers. Going up against Ailsa Agnew in the No. 7 match, Quan took the second game, 11-8, to even the score at 1-1, but dropped the next two games and the match, 3-1.

The Lions will wrap up the regular season Sunday, Feb. 10 with a trip to No. 1 Princeton. First serve at the Jadwin Squash Courts is scheduled for 12 p.m.
