• (4/8) With the Lions victory over Yale, Andrea Cofrin becomes the first head coach in program history to lead Columbia to multiple Ivy League wins in a season.

• (5/3) Taylor Quinn Leads Four All-Ivy League Selections

• (5/3) Victoria Kalamaras tallied 20+ goals and assists in her junior campaing to become the first player in program history achieve the benchmark in back-to-back seasons for her second-consecutive second team honor. She also finished the year setting a program single-season record in assists with 42, besting the previous record of 32 set by Kacie Johnson ‘13CC in 2012. Kalamaras also led the Ancient Eight in assists in Ivy League play with 20.

KEY RETURNERS: The Lions return 21 players from last season, including All-Ivy League honorees Victoria Kalmaras, Lindsey Ewertsen and Laine Parsons.

Second team All-Ivy League honoree Victoria Kalamaras tallied 20+ goals and assists in her junior campaing to become the first player in program history achieve the benchmark in back-to-back seasons for her second-consecutive second team honor. She also finished the year setting a program single-season record in assists with 42, besting the previous record of 32 set by Kacie Johnson ‘13CC in 2012. Kalamaras also led the Ancient Eight in assists in Ivy League play with 20.

Lindsey Ewertsen also earned second team honors, and was a force in her sophomore season expanded her game from scorer to a pivotal all-around player. Ewertsen led the Lions with 33 caused turnovers, the second most in a single-season in program history, with 20 coming in Ivy League play. She also collected the third-most ground balls in a single-season with 50, along with 31 goals and a career-best 12 assists for 43 points on the offensive end.

Earning her first Ivy League selections with an honorable mention nod is Laine Parsons who emerged as an affective attacker for the Lions in her sophomore season. With 31 goals and six assists for 37 points, Parsons fired in 25 more goals and four more assists in 15 games than in her rookie season. She also led the Ivy League with free-position goals with eight in conference play and a runner-up total of 16 overall.
