At Reno High: Set school record with 11 interceptions in 2003 ... also led team with 106 tackles, and had 15 receptions for three TDs at receiver ... All-Sierra League and All-Northern Region ... competed vs. Procter Hug High, named after his great-grandfather ... team was league, zone and state champs in his senior campaign ... saw time at QB as a senior ... also lettered three years in baseball ... captained both football and baseball teams ... was all-league and all-region in baseball ... hit .462 as a junior ... baseball team won state title in 2004.

Personal: A political science major ... father, grandfather and great-grandfather all competed in track at the University of Nevada ... great-grandfather also played football ... Procter James Hug IV, b. 5/10/86 in Reno.
