The Women’s Leadership Council, founded in 2007 with Dr. M. Dianne Murphy, former Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education, is a leadership giving recognition society for women. Since its inception, Council members have contributed over $3.5 million in leadership support to the Athletics annual funds. There are two levels of membership within the Council: Silver membership, marked by cumulative annual gifts of $2,500 or more to The Fund for Excellence and/or Columbia Athletics’ 31 varsity sports programs over the course of the fiscal year (July 1-June 30), and the Blue & White membership, marked by cumulative annual gifts of $1,000.
