NEW YORK – Men’s soccer goalkeeper Dylan Castanheira and women’s basketball’s Camille Zimmerman were selected Columbia’s Student-Athletes of the Month for November.

Castanheira posted three shutouts to close the regular season, including his clean-sheet against Cornell to secure the Ivy League Championship on November 12. He also made a career-high seven saves despite rainy conditions at Penn on November 9.

Zimmerman averaged a double-double for the month, posting 19.2 points and 10.8 rebounds. She also led the squad in assists (3.0 APG) and blocks (1.5 BPG). She was named Ivy League Player of the Week twice, taking the honors after the first two weeks of the season. Zimmerman registered 20 points and a season-high 17 rebounds (nine offensive) in a come-from-behind win at Saint Francis (Nov. 19). She eclipsed the 20-point plateau four times in the team’s first six games.
