Anderson registered seven goals and two assists in nine contests. She was named Ivy League and NCAA Player of Week on September 25 after scoring the game-winner in a 2-0 win at Cornell and netting a hat trick to go with two assists in an 11-0 win over Wagner. Anderson, a product of Bethesda, Maryland, also found the back of the net at Saint Joseph’s and twice in a three-minute span against Sacred Heart. Her strong play has guided the Lions to a 2-0 start in Ivy League play.
Hill completed 39-of-59 passes (61.5 percent) for 757 yards and seven touchdowns in three games and guided the Lions to their first 3-0 start since 1996. The senior went 27-of-40 for 400 yards and a pair of touchdown passes, including a 63-yard strike to Ronald Smith II with 1:12 remaining in the fourth quarter in a victory over Princeton September 30. Hill became the first Columbia quarterback to throw for 400 yards since 2011. A native of Boulder, Colorado, Hill tossed four TD passes against Georgetown and rushed for 89 yards and added 199 through the air in a season-opening win over Wagner.
