NEW YORK - The Columbia men's golf team will travel to
Lemont, Ill. this weekend to compete at the John Dallio Memorial hosted by
DePaul.
The Ruffled Feathers Golf Club will serve as the host course
for the two-day tournament that begins Saturday, Oct. 6. The par-72, 6,898-yard
course has been the host of the John Dallio Memorial, formerly the DePaul
Invitational, since 2002.
This year's field features: Chicago State, Columbia, DePaul,
Eastern Illinois, Evansville, Green Bay, IUPUI, Loyola-Chicago, Marquette,
Northern Illinois, Northern Iowa, Oakland, SIUE, Valparaiso and Western
Illinois.
Southern Illinois has two John Dallio titles to its name,
winning the championship in 2004 and 2008. Florida Gulf Coast won the title in
2011, while IUPUI and DePaul won it in 2010 and 2009, respectively.
