LEMONT, Ill. - The Columbia men's golf team got through the
first round of the John Dallio Memorial Saturday, but second round action was
stopped due to darkness at the Ruffled Feathers Golf Club. After the first 18
holes, the Lions stand in 12th place.
Play got underway at the DePaul hosted tournament late
Saturday morning following a frost delay. Harrison Shih posted the top score
for Columbia, shooting a 76 to put himself in a tie for eighth. Brandon Jowers'
scorecard read 78 following the first round, placing him in a tie for 26th.
Andrew Kim opened the tournament with an 81, while Ford Fischer
registered an 84. Kim's first round score put him in a tie for 50th, while
Fischer is tied for 65th.
Play is set to resume Sunday at 9 a.m. with the remainder of the second round and
the final round to immediately follow.
