LEMONT, Ill. - The Columbia men's golf team concluded play at the John Dallio Memorial Sunday, claiming 11th place. Freshman Harrison Shih finished in a tie for third on the individual leaderboard to pace the Lions.

Play began Sunday with teams picking up in the second round where they had been halted due to darkness Saturday night. The second round turned out to be the lowest scoring round of the tournament for Shih, carding a 70. The Saddle River, N.J. native scored a 78 in the final round, placing him in a tie for third (76-70-78-224), just three strokes behind the top finisher, Kyle Henning, from Valparaiso.

Next for Columbia was Brandon Jowers (78-80-78-236) and Andrew Kim (81-77-79-237), who finished tied for 44th and 48th, respectively. Jowers matched Shih's third-round score of 78, while Kim recorded a 79.

Ford Fischer carded his best score of the tournament in the final round, also shooting a 78. Fischer complete the tournament tied for 64th (84-81-78-243).

Columbia trailed Wisconsin-Green Bay by three strokes to narrowly miss finishing in the top-10 as a team. Marquette won the team championship, topping host DePaul by five strokes.

The Lions will play their final tournament of the fall next weekend, traveling to Philadelphia to compete in the Big 5 Invitational at the Philadelphia Cricket Club.
