NEW YORK - The Columbia men's golf team will play in its final tournament of the fall season this weekend, traveling to Huntingdon Valley, Pa. to compete in the Big 5 Invitational.

The 36-hole tournament begins Saturday at the Philmont Country Club North Course. The par-70, 6,670-yard course will play host to 19 teams, including each Division I school in the Philadelphia region (Drexel, La Salle, Saint Joseph's, Temple, Villanova and Penn), all Ivy League schools (except Harvard), as well as Binghamton, Connecticut, Fordham, Hartford, Navy, Sacred Heart and Seton Hall.

The Lions will be looking to close out the fall season on a positive note after placing 11th in each of its last two tournaments. First-year Harrison Shih posted the best individual finish of the fall season, claiming third last week at the John Dallio Memorial in Chicago.

Columbia has stability across its roster, as Shih became the third Lion this year to lead the team after the final round. Jordan Lee (The McLaughlin) and Brandon Jowers (MacDonald Cup) have also been the top Columbia finisher at a tournament this fall.

The two-day tournament will feature one round each day and GolfStat.com will provide live scoring after play has begun Saturday morning.
