NEW YORK - The Columbia men's soccer team will provide the evening entertainment for Columbia's homecoming this Saturday as the Lions host Dartmouth at 7 p.m. Homecoming will also feature the football team and the women's soccer team taking on the Big Green at 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively, at the Baker Athletics Complex.

Saturday's match against Dartmouth will serve as the fourth Ivy League game of the season for Columbia. The Lions are 1-1-1 and fifth in the Ivy League to this point in the season following last Saturday's 0-0 tie with Princeton. The Lions and Tigers engaged in a fierce defensive battle for 110 scoreless minutes.

Kyle Jackson made seven saves against Princeton, earning him Co-Rookie of the Week honors. The award was Jackson's third of the year, making him the first Columbia player since Henning Sauerbier in 2010 to receive the distinction three times in one season. Over the last 214 minutes Jackson has played in net, the Lions have yet to yield a goal. Along the way, he has raised his save percentage to an Ivy League-best .840, stopping 42 shots.

The Columbia offense will need to take advantage of its opportunities Saturday. Dartmouth has allowed 15 goals this season, the third-highest total in the Ivy League.

Dartmouth enters Saturday's game tied for third in the Ivy League standings and is two points ahead of Columbia with six. The Big Green are winners in three of their last four contests with victories over conference foes Yale and Penn at home. In its only Ivy League road match, the Big Green fell to Princeton, 2-1, in overtime.

Offensively, Alex Adelabu has led the way for Dartmouth, tallying 14 points on six goals and two assists. Noah Cohen has been the primary goalkeeper for the Big Green. He currently has a 1.35 goals-against average and a .766 save percentage.

Dartmouth won last season's meeting in Hanover, N.H., 2-0, but Lions took the two previous meetings in the series.
