NEW YORK - The Columbia baseball team has announced the 2012 Dan Tischler Holiday Baseball Camp will feature two sessions, running December 26-28 and January 2-4.

The camp will feature an uninterrupted three days of instruction and fun for those between the ages of 7-13.

Formatted similarly to years past, the camp will include instruction in all aspects of baseball including throwing, hitting, fielding and base running. There will also be ample opportunity for fun competition in which the players can showcase their abilities and what they have learned throughout the day.

The camp will be staffed by additional college coaches as well as members of the Columbia baseball squad, who will help the children learn fundamentals of the game.

Indoor batting cages, the Blue Gym and Levien Gym will be used for all the drills and games.
