Update on Columbia Football
There will be an update on Columbia Football on
gocolumbialions.com released every Tuesday evening in 2013. The features
will include updates on the team's off-season workouts, dates to remember and
other team information that will keep you in the know about the Columbia
Football program!
THE TEAM AWARDS BANQUET
This Saturday is the Columbia Football Awards
Banquet, honoring the seniors class of 2013 in Low Library at 5 p.m. Head Coach Pete Mangurian will give a
number of team awards, including, but not limited to:

We are excited to announce the 2013 Columbia Football Schedule!
The new opponent for 2013 is Monmouth, who will be coming to Lawrence A. Wien
Stadium on September 28.
The Lions have road games at Fordham, Princeton, Dartmouth,
Yale and Cornell, while hosting
Monmouth, Lehigh, Penn, Harvard and Brown.
It's never too early to plan for next season!

FINAL NUMBERS
As the final Ivy League Football release noted,
some Columbia performances were amongst the League's best.
Marcorus Garrett's 86-yard rush vs. Cornell was the Ivy League's best
individual rushing play this season, while Garrett's 186-yard performance vs.
the Big Red was the third best Ivy League single-game performance of the year.
Garrett's four 100-yard rushing games ranked second in the Ivy League.
Sean Brackett's 33 completions vs. Yale ranked
second in the Ivy League for a single game. Brackett finished his career ranked 11th all-time
in Ivy League play with 46 passing touchdowns, fifth in total offense with
7.470 and 10th in passing yards with 6,237.
Alec Fisher's 30-yard punt return vs. Yale was
a single-game League best, and Josh Martin's three sacks vs. Cornell was also a League
single-game high.
Will Patterson had the most tackles for a loss
vs. Princeton with four, while Connor Nelligan had the second-most 100-yard
receiving games in the Ivy League.
HONORING DAT DUDE
On February 7th, Marcellus Wiley was honored at the Ivy
Football Association Dinner. Columbia
Athletics hosted a fantastic reception before the dinner and alums from all
over the country came back to New York for the occasion.
