Junior Marvellous Iheukwumere holds the top time in the 60m
at 24.29 seconds and the quartet of Olivia Sadler, Emily Krasinski, Trina Bills
and Madeline Rathbun hold the top 4x800m relay time of 8:50.55 seconds. In the
field, Uju Ofoche posts a top leap of 6.09m and Nadia Eke holds a leading
measure of 12.62m in the triple jump.
On the men's side, Columbia claims top-five showings in five
events, with leading times in three events. Harry McFann leads a strong Lion
pack in the 800m with a top time of 1:50.05. Brendon Fish comes in at No. 2
with a time of 1:50.56 and Connor Claflin stands at No. 3 at 1:50.62 seconds.

LIONS TO LOOK FOR (WOMEN):
The defending women's 200m champion, Iheukwumere, looks
poised for a repeat this season. At the Metropolitan Championships, she posted the conferences
fastest time at 24.29 seconds. She also holds a time of 7.60 in the 60m dash,
which stands third best in the Ivy League this season. Last season, Iheukwumere
placed second in the event, earning second-team All-Ivy Honors.
Uju Ofoche will prepare to continue her league dominance in
the long jump this weekend. The senior will compete for a third straight Ivy
League title in the event, currently holding a leading leap of 6.09m. With a
win, Ofoche would become the first athlete in program history and the third
all-time in the conference to capture the women's long jump title three times.
Dora Vegvari is also positioned to show well in the event as she currently
holds the fourth-best jump in the Ivy League at 5.75m.
Nadia Eke leads the way in the triple jump with a leap of
12.62, as three Lions are posted in the leagues top five. Eke will go for
second straight triple jump title after capturing the victory as a first-year
in 2012. Senior Queendenise Okeke will battle her teammate for her second title
in the event, as she currently stands No. 2 in the league with a leap of
12.29m. Okeke won the triple jump in the 2011 Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor
Championships.
Distance runners Erin Gillingham and Olivia Sadler should be
major factors in the 1,000m and one-mile events. They rank second (Gillingham)
and third (Sadler) in the conference for both events this season. At the
Metropolitan Championships, Gillingham posted a time of 2:48.25 in the 1,000m
