SCORE CARD
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Columbia men's squash team wrapped up
team competition for the 2012-13 season Sunday afternoon, taking on Dartmouth
in the 11/12th place match of the Hoehn Cup (B Division) at the 2013 CSA
National Team Championships. The Lions battled tough, but came up short against
the Big Green, falling by a score of 7-2.
Sophomore Ramit Tandon and senior Tony Zou tallied the Lions'
two points Sunday. Tandon reached the 15-win mark on the season with an 11-6,
11-9, 11-2 showing against Christopher Hanson in the No. 1 match. Zou split the
first two games against Christopher Jung, but then went on to win the next two
for the four-game victory.
Mohamad AbdelMaksoud and Graham Miao each competed in close
matches Sunday, but would go down to their opponents in the No. 2 and 4
matches, respectively.
Numerous Lions will travel back to Connecticut next weekend,
this time to Hartford, for the 2013 CSA National Individual Championships, which
will run from March 1-3. Fans can check GoColumbiaLions.com or
