Final Results

SAMMAMISH, Wash. -- Playing against some of the top competition in the country, including seven nationally ranked teams, the Columbia women's golf team finished in 10th place at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational on Sahalee National Golf Course Wednesday.

First-year Rachel Shi led the Columbia contingent tied at 32nd, carding scores of 76-75-79--230 (+14). Teammate Michelle Piyapattra was not far behind, finishing in a tie for 39th with scores of 77-81-76--234 (+18).

First-year Camilla Vik led the Lions after a strong first round of play, earning a score of 75 and carding four birdies, before finishing in a tie for 43rd place.

First-year Jackie Chulya (T47) continued to play well, carding the eighth-lowest second round score, 73 (+1), despite battling inclement weather conditions.

As a team, Columbia shot 308 in the first round, followed by a score of 302 in round two for a 36-hole total of 611 on Tuesday. The Lions completed the final round of play with a score of 321 to remain in 10th and finish with a total team score of 931.

In addition to Columbia, the 13-team field included California, Colorado, Gonzaga, Long Beach State, Oregon, San Francisco, San Jose, Stanford, UC Davis, UCF, host Washington and Washington State.
